Stupid Signposting
I saw this signpost in front of council tenements by Penryhn Road. The sign said 'No Thoroughfare' next to a path which gave the perfect shortcut to walking around a corner. The sign gave me further encouragement to take the shortcut.
Student protest 10/11/10
I went to the protest over the Browne Review and the plan to raise top-up fees. The protest was largely peaceful and it was interesting to see so many people crowded into the same place. The barriers create a route for the march on the way there and back. This was a good thing when leaving the protest. It took me only 15 minutes to move from the rally at Millbank to Parliament Square. I managed to capture a suspicious looking protester (top right) who resembles an off-duty policeman more than a student. Hmmm

Spots that you shouldn't skate on
I went to Thames Barrier park last week and i saw this spot which, i found out later was a memorial to the citizens of Newham who died in the two wars. Apparently a lot of people skate there but it's a bit innapropriate.

Hampton Wick Skatepark redesigned
Last night was my last session at the now-closed skatepark in Hampton wick. Apparently work will begin on a new park in January 2011 which will be made entirely out of concrete. I put on updates as the work on the park progresses.
